Killer Whale Sex Club Is Really More of a Cocktail Bar
Killer Whale Sex Club
I have a deep level of respect for people who really, truly just don’t give a shit. The people you see with tattoos covering every bit of skin; the people who are either way over or underdressed at an occasion and don’t seem to care; the people who can just start singing in public without feeling at all embarrassed. At the end of the day, at least in my head, it comes down to moms. I don’t want to have to explain to her why I deviate so far from the rest of society, so I mostly don’t. But what if I walked up to her one day and said, “Hey, so I started a cocktail bar in Phoenix called Killer Whale Sex Club?” It’s the pinnacle of not giving a shit. Or maybe it’s so over the top that it falls back to the realm of normalcy. I dunno. What I do know is that Killer Whale Sex Club is a really good cocktail bar. It’s irreverent, but it’s also a buttoned-up experience. The drinks are on point, the room itself is nicer than you’d expect, and the whole vibe just feels right. You should probably go.

This pitch-black, unpretentious hangout delivers on more than the shock value of its name, but there’s no denying Killer Whale is both irreverent and fun. Just take a gander at the Polaroid pics of guests’ butt cracks throughout the place, then feel free to add your own to the collection.
