Ocean 44 Will Make You Feel Like a Boss

4.5 Yumpoints | Tied for #51 in Phoenix | Tied for #13 in Scottsdale

I don’t know what kinds of crowds you find yourself in, but if you’re in the executive mix, you’ve probably already made your way to Ocean 44 by now. It’s very nice and very expensive, and the people dining there look very nice and very expensive. It’s really no more expensive than any other steakhouse situation, so I guess that makes it fairly affordable, all things considered. One day, if the Michelin Guide ever makes its way to Phoenix, Ocean 44 is the type of place that’s going to get a star. It’s not going to be as loved by food writers because it’s not especially playful or innovative (and it’s probably too expensive for repeat visits if you’re writing for the New Times), but what you get is going to be exceptional.
